Star Trek: The Next Generation
First airing in 1987, Star Trek: The Next Generation followed the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D on their new mission to explore new worlds and civilisations. Her captain, Jean-Luc Picard, his first officer William Riker and android operations officer Data were at the centre of the series. Klingon tactical officer Worf, blind engineer Geordie LaForge, ships doctor Beverly Crusher and councillor Denna Troi complete the senior staff. The show ran for seven seasons and released four spin-off feature films.
